What We Do

Services finished to a standard we'd want in our own home.

Six specialties, one standard. Every job is prepped meticulously, finished carefully and left immaculate.

Interior & Exterior Painting

From a single room to a whole facade, we prep like the finish depends on it — because it does. Surfaces are cleaned, sanded, patched and primed before a brush ever touches them, and every line is cut in by hand. The result is a deep, even finish that still looks sharp seasons later.

  • Full surface prep, sanding and priming
  • Hand-cut lines — no tape shortcuts
  • Premium interior and exterior grade paints
  • Furniture and landscaping protected daily

Spackling & Wall Repair

Paint only looks as good as the wall underneath it. We fill and feather cracks, nail pops, dents and open seams, then sand to a dead-flat surface so nothing telegraphs through the topcoat — especially in the raking light that gives cheap patchwork away.

  • Crack, dent and nail-pop repair
  • Drywall seam and corner-bead work
  • Feathered and sanded to a flat plane
  • Dust kept contained and cleaned up

House Soft Washing

Salt air and shade leave siding green and grey. Soft washing uses low pressure and the right cleaning solution to lift algae, mildew and road film without driving water behind the siding or stripping the finish — the safe way to clean shingles, clapboard and trim.

  • Low-pressure, siding-safe method
  • Algae, mildew and salt-film removal
  • Safe on cedar shingles and clapboard
  • Plants and landscaping rinsed and protected

Concrete & Patio Power Washing

Concrete, pavers and stone hold onto years of dirt, moss and stains. We power wash at the right pressure for the surface, bringing back the original colour without etching or leaving stripe marks — the fastest way to make an entire property look cared for again.

  • Driveways, walkways, patios and steps
  • Pressure matched to the surface
  • Even passes — no stripe marks
  • Moss, algae and stain treatment

Deck Staining

A deck takes more abuse than any other surface on the property. We clean and brighten the wood first, let it dry properly, then lay down a stain that soaks in evenly — protecting against UV, salt air and standing water while letting the grain show through.

  • Deck cleaning and wood brightening
  • Proper dry time before staining
  • Even, absorbed coverage — no lap marks
  • Railings, steps and trim included

Wallpaper Removal

Wallpaper removal is the messiest job in the trade if it is done carelessly. We score, steam and strip in a contained work area, clear every trace of adhesive, then skim and prime the wall so it is genuinely ready for paint — not just bare.

  • Score, steam and strip — paper and backing
  • Full adhesive residue removal
  • Skim coat and prime for a smooth wall
  • Floors protected, debris removed daily

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Hamptons, the North Fork and all of Suffolk County, New York — including Southampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Montauk, Bridgehampton, Greenport, Riverhead and the surrounding towns. If you are not sure whether we reach you, just ask.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Quotes are free and no-pressure. For most projects we walk the space in person so the estimate reflects the real work, then send you a clear, itemised price with no obligation to book.

Do you do both interior and exterior work?

Yes. We handle interior and exterior painting, spackling and wall repair, house soft washing, concrete and patio power washing, deck staining, and wallpaper removal.

How do you protect my home while you work?

We cover furniture, protect floors and landscaping, and keep the job site tidy every day. The goal is a spotless finish and a home left as though we were never there.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the size and condition of the space, since we never rush prep. When we quote, we give you a realistic timeline up front and keep you updated as the work progresses.

Are you family-owned?

Yes. Finesse Finish is a brother-owned company. Owner Rudy Samayoa trained alongside some of the best painters on Long Island and built the crew around quality and cleanliness.

How do I get started?
